Der Schwerpunkt ihrer Erz�hlungen lag anfangs meist bei Liebesromanen, und humorvollen Kom�dien. Jedoch kam auch das Drama, die Fantasy und der Horror nicht zu kurz. Im sp�teren Verlauf floss auch immer mehr Erotik ein und diese Kategorie entwickelte sich schnell zu einer ihrer liebsten. Im Jahr 2010 wagte sie den gro�en Schritt und stellte einige ihrer Erz�hlungen auf einer Fanfiktion- Seite einer breiteren Leserschaft zu Verf�gung. Only for a beginner

First let me say, Ned Davis Research does excellent work. I was hoping to get some insight into the types of research his company uses. But I'm sorry to say I can not recomend this book to anyone but those completely unfamiliar with sentiment analysis. Only the basics are covered. Over half of the book is stock charts showing fundamental variables (I thought this was about sentiment?) and is a waste of space. He does say he is using these variables as a measure of investor sentiment but maybe they could have used a handful of charts as examples, not over half a book that is only 170 pages long.

Buyer beware...the book is padded in large part by graphs and data. The actual chapters are short and can be covered in a day...This is a beginner's book with little insights...Professional stay away!

The Truth is in the Middle

I read this book and loved it. All of the other review/criticism seem to focus on the fact that it is too simplistic or too short. If you know that going in then you won't be disappointing like they were.

The charts are good resources. The 70 pages of charts illustrate one company stock chart per page. They give measure of price/dividend or price/sales ratios that indicate overly fearful and overly confident ranges. To this day, even though they are outdated, I refer to those ratios and ranges if I am doing due diligence on one of the stocks he has charted.

I loaded up on Budweiser in 2005-06, in part because of their overly fearful positioning (and of course dividend and positive attributes not included in this book). That trade was hugely successful for me and these charts and range analysis added to my confidence level. If NDR wrote an updated version of this with those companies and more, and their stock charts and overlyfearful/overly confident guages, I would buy the book just as a resource. It only takes one trade, one good call to have resources MORE THAN pay themselves. I keep this one reaching distance from my desk along with about 2 dozen others I consider worthwhile. Now that it is old I would really give it a 4 star rating, but I wanted to weight the average up because I thought all the one star ratings were incredibly extreme.

Buy it used or check it out from your local library, but don't let those negative reviews deprive you of seeing what nuggets you might find.

Love Foster & Christmas!

I greatly enjoy Lori Foster and I LOVE all things holiday. I've read all of these stories before, but I'm an avid re-reader and often find myself purchasing the same book more than once when I get the yen to read it again.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the pet pyschic story. It's a genre that simply does not appeal to me. However, all of Foster's books are very amusing and entertaining. The only dissapointment I've had is that stupid "Michael" book (utterly horrible).

This is a great light read to get you into the mood for Christmas.

Four Red-Hot Presents for the Reader

NYT best-selling author Lori Foster has a reputation for writing deliciously hot yet heartfelt chick lit-y kind of contemporary romance material, and she lives up to her reputation with this series of four Christmas novellas.

In He Sees You When You're Sleeping, Booker Dean has had his neighbor Frances on his mind for months, and vice versa. They've been "friends," but each has been involved with other people. In under 50 pages, Foster manages both a sweet love story and a hot consummation.

Parker Ross is a jaded detective, and Lily Donaldson seems to be a sappy, warmhearted, do-gooder in White Knight Christmas. Lily manages to wake more than the Christmas spirit in Parker.

Do You Hear What I Hear is another story that involves a police professional, this time a member of the SWAT team. Ozzie Decker suspects his sister-in-law's sister, Marci, of not only being a kook (she claims to be an animal psychic), but a donkey thief.

I loved the story. The tension between Ozzie and Marci is perfect, the sex is hot, and the humor is wonderful. It turns out Marci did indeed steal the donkey from the manger scene, but for the best of reasons, and Ozzie is not compromised in his profession by helping her return him to his proper owners (the donkey's not Ozzie's).

The last story in the quartet is The Christmas Present, and it's a lovely way to close the book. Beth Monroe has had payback sex with her ex-fiance's best friend. At least, that's all it was supposed to be, but for Levi it was more than that. Beth has run away to her family's roadside motel, but to her initial surprise, Levi has followed her. This is a hard premise to pull off, because on the one hand, it highly resembles too fast rebound sex, and on the other, stalking, Foster pulls it off and makes it look like long disguised true love.

All in all, this book makes a great stocking stuffer, or even under the tree.

Christmas Fun!

This is a fun collection of contemporary Christmas time romance novellas one of which lets us visit with characters from Foster's series.

The stories in here were all pleasurable. They were perfect little bites of holiday love. One member of each couple was just waiting for the right moment to court the other and all were steadfast in their devotion.

Booker Dean knows exactly what he wants for Christmas: his next-door neighbor, Frances Kennedy. And he's got a gift planned for her that involves lots of delicious unwrapping.

This one is fun. There is lots of crushing on his neighbor and chemistry.

Officer Parker Ross hates Christmas, while Lily Donaldson lives for it. But he's willing to be converted, especially when Lily is the one doing the persuading.

Lily is the neighbor in pursuit in this one. We have an older hero and the younger woman at play her.

Sergeant Osbourne Decker suspects pet psychic Marci Churchill is barking mad, but she's also a knockout. And when she's accused of stealing a donkey from the local nativity scene, he can't stop thinking about frisking her.

This one is a fun romp.

About the Author
Lian Zhen was born in Canton, China, and started sketching and painting when he was 10 years old. He received a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1992 and his Masters degree in Architecture from MIT in 1996. His art teaching experience includes eight years at the University of California at Berkeley, where he taught watercolor outdoor sketching. Another excellent book by Lian Zhen

Lian Zhen has again written another excellent book on traditional Chinese painting techniques and his unique style of merging Chinese painting methods with western watercolor. This book will provide hours of instruction and inspiration for all levels of artists - from beginner to advanced. The book includes detailed information about materials, basic techniques, Chinese painting composition, 13 flower demonstrations, and 4 experimental Chinese painting techniques. Eight of the 13 flower demonstrations include step-by-step instructions for both Chinese and western watercolor methods so one can compare and contrast the two methods. The book, like Lian Zhen's seminars, will assit you to find and develop your style as a painter.

Chinese Watercolor Techniques

This book not only takes some of the mystery out of chinese brush painting, but also explains the philosophy behind the beautiful work. It is most helpfull to those of us who paint impressionistic watercolors in the western style and are trying to free ourselves of overpainting with too much detail ie. to find and paint "the essence." A great book!

Even Rhythm

Wow, 2nd book in Offbeat Series, Tyler's brother Ryan had passed away, and Tyler and Bayleigh are estranged at this time, Tyler is in Calif. There has been so much broken trust, hurt feelings, Bayleigh has gotten news that she is unsure how Tyler will take it. Tyler wants to reach out to Bayleigh, but he is afraid of getting rejected again, he thinks of Bayleigh daily, but he made an awful mistake that he cannot erase, not sure if it can be forgiven? Only time, effort, persistence will possibly show Bayleigh that Tyler is serious, and back to stay! I cried so many tears, a heartfelt story, so much love, friendship, closeness, best friends, will they get their Happy Ever After? This duet Series is a must read!!!!❤️❤️

what a crazy ride but I love me some childhood sweethearts !!

Well what can I say , another 4 hours of emotional torture reading the conclusion of Tyler and Bay's story...the ending was beautiful and the bits of other POV thrown in were wonderful. I love dual POV but when you get little surprise POV's it always makes it more exciting !! We knew Tyler and Bay's story wasn't over but we didn't know just how much struggle they would face to get their HEA. WOW I was on edge the whole time , waiting for the other shoe to drop or something to wreck me. It may not be as devastating as Ryan's story BUT it is worthy of tears. I was also happy that Ryan's presence was still felt by everyone , I loved him so much and was happy to still have him there with us.

Tyler and Bay are once again on separate roads, sadly they are also across the country from one another. Both hurting , missing Ryan and missing each other, yet torturing us all with their angsty indecision. Bay has some really big news yet she is keeping it very hush hush, she is fragile and so worried about what will come of things in the future that she is almost willing to waste the here and now moments. Tyler is on the verge of coming home , he is miserable without Bay and wants her back yet he doesn't know who should make the first move. THANK GOODNESS FOR MANDY !! She is a force to be reckon with and she is able to set them straight more than a few times.

Tyler and Bay's fate was set for them when they were 5 and although they have had a rough road to their HEA there is no doubt they deserve it. I was worried for a bit and thankfully the author a path I could handle LOL. Wondering if we will get any of the other stories from the epilogue ??

Everyone needs an Even Rhythm in their life!

So let's just start with the fact that I have been waiting to get my hands on Even Rhythm since before the last tear dried off my face as I finished the first book in this series Offbeat. Let me tell you, as soon as S Moose's book hit my ereader, I dropped everything else I was doing to dive on in.

Even Rhythm Brings us back to Bayleigh and Tyler. We left them in book one in an ending that just tore at my heart and brought on those sad silent tears. These are two people who truly love each other. Yet what they have been through in their young lives has torn at the fabric of their relationship, shaken its foundation to the very core. This book takes us along on their journey as they come back together. Will they be able to make it through this next rocky chapter in their lives and truly find their way back to one another? To love and happiness?

S Moose does a fabulous job of wringing the emotions from her characters. You can't help but feel for them and be swept away into their story. Every situation just moved me and I held my breath and clutched my tissue rooting for everything to turn out the way that I wanted. It was an absolutely beautiful story that totally wrapped up Bayleigh and Tyler's story and did it with such heart and eloquence.

I urge you to go and snatch up this series. And yes I said series, bc you really need to read Offbeat to appreciate both the struggles that Bayleigh and Tyler overcome in Even Rhythm and their forever love.

This book is very touching it gives you an understanding how God can bless you in the mist of trouble! All he needs for us to do is put trust in him and he will guide us through. It also allows us to see the trial and tribulations of a young woman life who has decided to let God use her even though she made a few bad choices and she is showing alot of young women that it's never to late to give your all and follow God!!
