Flavors of the world...

I didn't buy our copy of this book from Amazon. We were given a copy of the book from Siba, herself when she was in New York City during her book tour a few weeks ago. My daughter is the little girl she talks about in the back of the cookbook, and there are photos of our meeting on her facebook page.
I was finally able to get to the store for a few of the items I need to make a few of the recipes. This isn't written as a US cookbook, so if you do buy this beware. This isn't an issue for us since we have a lot of cookbooks from the UK and we bake a lot, so we are used to weighing items, etc. Grilled Pancakes, Seven-Colour Rice, and Soy, Honey + Mustard Chicken Salad have all been a hit.
Now since I am in the US, and not in South Africa, I did have a hard time finding a couple of spices, but I just ordered them online and had them in a few days. So, you might have to plan ahead, but also really depends what your grocery store carries as well.
